Description

Lots of comfort for long distances. The Ultra Glide 4 feels soft and smooth and is made for long runs, ultras and high-mileage weeks. Your foot is well held without the shoe feeling sluggish.

Strong on mixed, runnable terrain. On forest paths, gravel and hard-packed trails it gives grip and a stable feel. On steep, rocky terrain it feels less precise than a lower, more direct shoe.

You notice the cushioning mostly later in the run. When your legs get tired, the shoe keeps rolling softly. With the Quicklace you tighten it quickly and evenly.

Choose it for comfort over long distances. If you have a wide foot, go for the Wide version.

How does the Ultra Glide 4 fit?

True to size, so take your usual size. The toe box is a bit narrow. If you have a wide foot, choose the Ultra Glide 4 Wide.

What's the difference with the Ultra Glide 3?

The upper is completely new: lighter, more breathable and quicker to dry. The midsole and outsole stayed the same.

Does the shoe have a rock plate?

No, there's no rock plate. If you run a lot on very rocky terrain, a shoe with a rock plate is a better choice.

Can I also run on the road with it?

Short stretches of asphalt are no problem. If you mainly run on the road, a road shoe is more comfortable.

Meer hardloop dan trail schoen.

Ze lopen wel lekker met hardlopen maar voor een trail vind in ze minder goed. Ze zijn wat minder stabiel op scheve rotsen en pakken weinig grip op modder padjes.

Wel echt licht en ze zijn ruim rond de tenen.

Het eerste paar hardloop schoenen waar ik niet blaren in loop, en een geweldig vorm van de zolen om vloeiend stappen in te zetten.
