Description

Stable without getting stiff. The wide base and the support at the sides give confidence on rocks, loose stones and cambered paths. Yet the shoe stays flexible enough to hold your pace.

Lots of control on technical terrain. The lugs grip well on steep climbs and loose descents, and the sturdy Matryx upper keeps your foot in place. The toe box gives you a bit more room than the first Genesis.

You notice the support most as the kilometres add up. When you're tired, on technical descents and on uneven landings, the stable construction helps you stay in control. The cushioning is firm rather than soft.

Choose it for grip, stability and long days in the mountains. For fast, flat trails a lighter shoe makes more sense.
