Great comfort for long distances. The Ultra Glide 4 feels soft and supple and is aimed at long endurance trails, ultras, and weeks with high training mileage. The foot is comfortably enclosed without the shoe feeling heavy or bulky.

Strong on mixed and walkable terrain. On forest paths, gravel, and harder trails, it offers a pleasant combination of grip, cushioning, and stability. On very technical terrain, it feels less precise than a more direct trail shoe.

You notice the cushioning especially as the mileage increases. With tired legs and repeated impact, the shoe maintains a comfortable roll-off, making it a good fit for long training runs and ultra-distances.

Choose it for comfort and many kilometers. If you are primarily looking for precision and direct ground feel, choose a more technical trail shoe.

More of a running shoe than a trail shoe.

They feel nice for running, but I don't find them as good for a trail. They are a bit less stable on slanted rocks and don't get much grip on muddy paths.

They are really light and roomy around the toes.

Pleasant shopping experience with good service
