Light and supple on your foot. This micro crew is thinner than a classic hiking sock, with soft terry loops underfoot and extra protection over the ankle and Achilles. It feels airy without you feeling your shoe right away.
Made for day hikes in warmer weather. On summer paths and long walks in low shoes your foot stays cooler than in a midweight sock. You'll notice it most in the afternoon, when your feet warm up.
Sits just above your shoe. The sock reaches about 5 cm above a low hiking shoe, so sand and grit reach your skin less quickly. The merino wool wicks moisture and keeps your feet drier.
Heading out in the cold or with a heavy pack? Go for a midweight sock like the 1903.
