OMM Core Vest

Designed to keep moving. The open PrimaLoft® Active structure traps heat while allowing excess heat and moisture to escape easily. This means you don't have to put layers on and take them off as often during long climbs or varying exertion.

Works best as part of a layering system. Wear it under a lightweight windproof jacket for maximum insulation and open or remove that outer layer as soon as you get warmer. Especially during long climbs or when your pace increases, you will feel how the vest helps keep your temperature stable without feeling clammy.

Continues to perform when wet. In rain, snow, or heavy perspiration, it retains its insulating properties and dries quickly. This makes it a reliable choice for long trails, mountain days, and multi-day trips where dry clothing is not a given.

Undecided between a fleece and this vest? Choose the Core Vest if low weight, compact storage, and active temperature regulation are more important than wind protection. If you are looking for warmth without an outer layer, a traditional fleece or insulated jacket is a better choice.
