Designed for movement in the cold. The open PrimaLoft® Active structure retains heat while allowing heat and moisture to escape easily. This allows you to keep the hoodie on often, even as your exertion increases.

Works best as part of a layering system. Wear it under a lightweight windproof jacket for maximum warmth and regulate your temperature by opening or removing only the outer layer. Especially during long climbs or when your pace picks up, you will notice that the hoodie stays warm without feeling stuffy.

Continues to perform in wet conditions. The synthetic insulation retains its effectiveness in rain, snow, or heavy perspiration and dries quickly. The hood provides extra warmth during breaks, on windy mountain ridges, or during sudden weather changes.

Undecided between a fleece and the Core Hoodie? Choose this hoodie if low weight, small pack volume, and active temperature management are more important than wind protection. If you are looking for a warm outer layer for calm conditions, choose a traditional fleece or an insulated jacket.
