Description

Simply good light. The Tikka Core gives a wide, even beam of up to 450 lumens. You clearly see what's happening around your feet, on the street, in the park or on a quiet forest trail. One button, so you never have to search.

Always powered. You charge the included CORE battery, but the lamp also runs on three AAA batteries. Handy when travelling or camping, where you can't always charge.

Small and smart. The lamp housing tilts, a lock stops it switching on in your bag, and the glow-in-the-dark reflector is easy to find in the dark. The red light won't blind your tent mate. In the included pouch it becomes a lantern.

A great first headlamp and a good backup. Running technical trails more often? Then choose a lamp with a focused beam.

With the CORE battery, according to Petzl: 2 hours at 450 lumens (Max Power), 7 hours at 100 lumens (Standard) and 110 hours at 7 lumens (Max Burn Time). Constant red light lasts 60 hours.

Does the Tikka Core also run on batteries?

Yes, on three AAA batteries. The maximum is then 350 lumens.

Is the Tikka Core waterproof?

It's IPX4: resistant to rain and splashing, but not for submersion.

What's the difference with the Actik Core?

The Actik Core gives more light (625 lumens) and has a mixed beam that reaches further. The Tikka Core is lighter and cheaper, with a wide beam for close range.
