Description

Red light you can actually use. The UT27 MB has a red LED that gives up to 150 lumens and reaches 70 metres. Enough to run on in sections where only red light is allowed. A double-click takes you straight to it.

Choose your white light. You also have up to 800 lumens of white light in cool, neutral or warm. Cool white gives the most visibility, warm light more contrast in fog and rain. The lamp housing tilts up to 90 degrees.

Battery or AAA. You charge the HLB1500 battery pack via USB-C and swap it in seconds. When everything is empty, the lamp also runs on 3 AAA batteries. The battery compartment glows in the dark, so you find it quickly.

A smart choice for night trail runs and ultras with red light rules. Only running short loops? Then you need the extra functions less.

Why is the red light so strong?

Some races only allow red light in certain sections. Most lamps then give just a few lumens. The UT27 MB gives up to 150 lumens of red light, enough to run on safely.

How long does the UT27 MB last?

With the HLB1500 battery pack, according to Nitecore: 2.5 hours at 800 lumens, 3.5 hours at 500 lumens, 6.5 hours at 280 lumens and 14.5 hours at 100 lumens. Red lasts 5 hours at 150 lumens and 21 hours at 10 lumens.

Can I also use AAA batteries?

Yes, the lamp also runs on 3 AAA batteries. Brightness stays the same, burn time is shorter.

Is the UT27 MB waterproof?

It's IP66: resistant to heavy rain and splashing, but not for submersion. It survives a 1-metre drop.
