Description

Almost nothing on your head. The HA15 UHE weighs 43 grams including headband. You barely feel it, even on a long run, and it fits in any vest as a backup lamp.

One AA battery is enough. The lamp runs on a regular AA battery, which is included, and also on rechargeable NiMH batteries. With a Nitecore 14500 battery you get the highest setting of 400 lumens and the longest burn time.

Wide, calm light. Six LEDs behind a special lens give a wide beam without harsh spots. Two differently shaped buttons are easy to find by feel, and a lock stops it switching on in your bag. Use the red light up close.

A great lamp for short runs and as a backup on an ultra. Want more light for technical descents? Then choose a more powerful lamp.

Which battery does the HA15 UHE use?

One AA battery: alkaline, NiMH or lithium. You can also use a 14500 battery, such as the Nitecore NL1411R. That's when the lamp is most powerful.

Is the HA15 UHE waterproof?

It's IP66: resistant to heavy rain and splashing, but not for submersion. It survives a 1-metre drop.
