How do you measure your foot:
- Place a sheet of paper on a hard floor.
- Stand upright with your heel against the wall.
- Mark on the paper where you longest toe ends. Usually the big toe.
- Measure the distance from the wall to the mark in centimeters.
- Add 1-1.5 cm to this so that you have enough room.
- Use the size chart above to determine your size.
Tip: always measure both feet. There may be a difference.

Description
Description
Made for long days on technical terrain. The shoe feels comfortable and stable, so you keep running relaxed even after many kilometres. The roll-off stays smooth, even when the trail gets rougher and steeper.
Plenty of confidence on challenging trails. The grip gives you security on wet rocks, loose stones and muddy paths, while the stable platform helps on technical descents and uneven ground. Especially when fatigue kicks in, you'll notice the extra cushioning and protection make the difference.
Designed for long-term use in the mountains. The upper wraps the foot securely and protects against knocks and falling stones without feeling heavy. Gaiter attachment points make the shoe even better suited to dusty or gravelly routes.
Torn between this and a lighter trail shoe? Choose the Mafate 5 if comfort, protection and control come first. For short, fast or less technical trails, a more direct model is often the better choice.
