You notice the grip as soon as the surface becomes less predictable. On muddy sections, loose slopes, and technical parts, the shoe provides more stability when pushing off and landing. At the same time, the cushioning remains comfortable enough for longer trail runs.

Choose this shoe if grip and control are more important than a smooth feel on hard surfaces. If you mainly run on compact forest paths, gravel, or dry trails, a less pronounced trail shoe is probably more comfortable.

For wet, loose, and technical trails, this is the more logical choice.
