Description

Direct and precise on technical terrain. The 002 is the lowest Norda and gives you plenty of feel for what's under your feet. That helps with short steps, quick changes of direction and passages over rocks and roots.

Stable when the terrain gets tougher. The fit locks around foot and heel, and the Vibram Megagrip outsole with 5 mm lugs holds grip on rock and loose ground. You notice it most on technical descents: the shoe reacts quickly and your foot doesn't shift.

Light and strong. The bio-Dyneema upper is woven in one piece and stands up to abrasion against rock. The removable insole and padded heel collar make it comfortable enough for longer sessions.

Choose it for control over cushioning. If you want more cushioning, look at the 001A.

What is the 002 designed for?

For fast runs and very technical terrain where you want to run low to the ground. Long distances are possible, but it's not a maximum-cushion shoe.

What's the difference with the 001A?

The 002 is lower and more direct, with a Vibram SLE midsole. The 001A has more cushioning, so it's more comfortable over long distances.

How does the 002 fit?

Small. Norda recommends going a full size up from your usual size.

Can you replace the insole?

Yes, the insole is removable, so you can also use your own.
