Description

Light, responsive and snug around your foot. The 001A is the most versatile Norda, for ultras, daily training and racing. The upper fits like a sock, so your foot stays securely in place.

More responsive than the 001. The new Arnitel midsole springs back lively and needs no breaking in. You stay close to the ground, so you can place your feet well.

Grip on rough terrain. The Vibram Litebase Megagrip outsole with 5 mm lugs grips on wet rock and loose stones. You notice it most on steep, slippery descents: you put your foot down without hesitating. The bio-Dyneema upper stands up to abrasion against rocks and branches.

Choose it as your all-rounder for the trail. If you want more cushioning for long ultras, look at the 055.

Frequently asked questions

What's the difference with the 001?

The midsole. The 001A has a new Arnitel midsole that is more responsive and needs no breaking in. Outsole, stack and fit are almost the same.

Is the 001A suitable for wide feet?

It has an anatomical toe box that gives the forefoot room, but Norda doesn't class it as a wide shoe. If in doubt, come and try it on in the shop.

How does the 001A fit?

Slightly small. Go half a size up, and if you're between sizes, choose the larger one.

Can I use my own orthotic?

Yes, the insole is removable, so your own insole or orthotic fits.

De norda 001A bevallen mij perfect ik ben van de speedgoat 6 naar deze schoen gegaan maar wat een top schoen hij is al gebruikt met trainingen en gaat over 3 weken gebruikt worden op de dynafit DUINERTRAIL 50 km

Zeer stabiele trailschoen voor de langere afstanden

Zeer stabiele trailschoen voor de langere afstanden. Voelt direct vertrouwd, grip en voldoende gevoel voor diverse ondergronden. Rondom Nijmegen eerste meters, met wat hoogtemeters. Voet stevig vast bij klim en dalen.Veters geven geen drukpunten. Breed voetbed waardoor voldoende ruimte voor mijn grote teengewricht. Voelt zachter dan de Norda 002. Dus voor hak als voorvoet lopers prima keus.
