Direct contact with the ground. The stiff carbon construction provides a fast and precise push-off on rocks, hard trails, and steep switchbacks. You feel this especially when you keep pushing through fatigue on long climbs or technical terrain.
Compact without the hassle. The folding system folds in and out quickly, allowing you to easily stow the poles away during flat sections or descents. The minimalist grip keeps the whole setup light and responsive, yet intentionally feels less cushioning than more comfortable all-round models.
