Is the Rab Downpour Trail Light really waterproof?

Yes. The 2.5-layer Pertex Shield fabric has a 20,000 mm waterproof rating and a fluorocarbon-free DWR finish. The jacket is windproof and made for trail runs in wet, changeable weather.

Can I pack the jacket into its own pocket?

Yes. The chest pocket closes with a zip and doubles as a stuff sack. Put the jacket in and carry it compactly in your vest or pack.

Does the jacket have a hood?

Yes, a fully adjustable hood with a stiffened peak. If you don't need it, you can roll it away.

Does the jacket have vent zips?

No, this jacket has no vent zips. The fabric is breathable (20,000 g/m² per 24 hours) and the cuffs are partly elasticated so they cover the back of your hands.
