Description

A thin merino base layer. The Liner Crew Merino is made from RWS-certified merino wool and sits smoothly under a thicker hiking sock. On day hikes you can also wear it on its own.

Less friction between your toes. Every toe has its own merino sleeve, so skin doesn't rub against skin. You notice it most on long descents and at the end of the day, when your feet are warm and swollen.

Merino for long days. The wool fights odour and helps keep your feet at a comfortable temperature in changing weather. A band around your arch keeps the sock in place.

Rather skip the wool? Choose the Liner Crew. Want cushioning in one sock? Go for the Outdoor Crew.

Why Injinji?

OK, toe socks may look a bit odd. But on a long trail they can be genuinely brilliant.

With Injinji every toe is wrapped separately. That lets your toes move naturally and stops them constantly rubbing against each other – exactly the spot where annoying blisters can form after a few hours. Especially if some sand gets into your shoes too.

Especially for long distances and ultras we think Injinji is a very strong choice. And yes, putting them on takes ten seconds longer. But if that keeps you comfortable for hours longer, we think that's a fair deal.

Frequently asked questions

Can I wear this sock on its own?

Yes. Injinji designed it as a base layer under an outer sock for extra cushioning, but on day hikes you can also wear it on its own.

What's the difference with the regular Liner Crew?

The Liner Crew is made of COOLMAX EcoMade polyester. This version is made of merino wool, which fights odour and helps regulate temperature.

How do I put on a toe sock easily?

Pull the sock on halfway, slide each toe into its own sleeve and only then pull it up over your heel. After a few times it comes naturally.

How do I wash this sock?

Injinji recommends a delicate cycle in cold water and line drying. That keeps the toe sleeves in shape the longest.

De sokken passen goed, heb er meteen gebrikvan gemaakt en een lange wandeling door bos over "ongebaande wegen"mee gelopen. Prima bevallen!
