Topo Athletic Vista Women

The Vista feels soft and protective without becoming bulky. The thick cushioning helps absorb impact during long trails, while the shoe continues to roll smoothly on climbs, descents, and technical sections.

Despite the thick sole, you maintain a lot of confidence on difficult terrain. The grip remains strong on wet stones, muddy sections, and loose ground, allowing you to move more stably when the path becomes unsettled. Especially during long descents, you notice how much calm and control this gives to tired legs.

The shoe remains surprisingly comfortable in varying conditions. Water drains away faster, making it feel less heavy during wet runs or stream crossings. Additionally, the wide forefoot provides more room when feet start to expand over long distances.

If you are looking for a lot of direct contact with the trail or a playful, minimalist feel, this is probably not your shoe. The Vista clearly prioritizes comfort and long-distance protection.
