Description
Description
These gloves feel firmly warm, but thanks to the stretchy fabric, they fit snugly and smoothly around your hand. You retain good dexterity in your fingers, making it easy to open a zipper, grab a gel, or grip poles. The grippy palm provides hold even in the rain, and you operate your phone or watch with your thumb and index finger.
They perform best when it is cold and wet at the same time. Think of a winter rain run on the Veluwe, a trail in the Ardennes in wet snow, or a trek in the mountains where it cools down considerably at the top. After an hour in the rain and wind, you notice the difference: your hands stay warm and dry, whereas thin gloves would have long since become cold and soaked. If it gets really extremely cold, wear them as inner gloves under mittens.
If in doubt, consider how cold you get. This is the warmest glove in this line, so at mild temperatures or a high pace, your hands will quickly become too warm. If you are looking for a lighter glove that folds up small and only takes along just in case, the Paradox Waterproof is a better fit. If you always get cold hands in the winter, this is the better choice.
In short: the warmest waterproof running glove for cold, wet days.
