Description

A knitted hat that looks like a normal beanie, but is waterproof. A Porelle membrane sits between the knitted outer and the fleece lining. It blocks rain and wind and lets sweat vapour out.

Made for cold, wet days. Think winter long runs, walks in the rain and long days outside. Even when you stop for a while, your head stays dry and warm.

You notice it most in strong wind and steady rain. A normal beanie gets soaked and cold by then, this one stays dry on the inside. During hard efforts in mild weather it does get warm quickly.

In doubt? Choose this one for cold, rain and wind. For fast runs in warmer temperatures a thinner hat or headband is more comfortable.

Is this beanie really waterproof?

Yes. A waterproof, breathable Porelle membrane sits between the knitted outer and the lining. The outside can get wet, but rain doesn't reach your head. The membrane is windproof too.

Can I wear this beanie while running?

Yes, on cold and wet runs. The membrane is breathable, but the fleece lining makes it a warm hat. In mild temperatures and at high effort you'll warm up quickly.

Which size do I need?

It comes in 56-58 cm and 58-60 cm. Measure your head circumference just above your eyebrows and ears and pick the size that range falls in.

What is the beanie made of?

The outer is acrylic (the grey version acrylic with polyester), underneath is the Porelle membrane and the lining is a soft fleece of polyester with elastane.

Super! Echt heerlijk warm

Super! Echt heerlijk warm, zachte binnenkant en mooie buitenkant. Enorm verschil met normale mutsen, hiermee blijf ik echt warm. Voor hardlopen denk ik snel te warm maar voor wandelen met koude wind etc. geweldig. De waterdichte laag zie/voel je niet, wel te merken qua geluid (je hoort iets minder goed dan met een normale muts, logisch, geïsoleerde laag)
