Wash-In Textile Waterproofing is an impregnating agent that is easily added to garments in the washing machine. It improves the fabric's water- and dirt-repellent properties and extends the garment's life by protecting the fibers and restoring their water-repellent properties. It preserves the fabric's breathability, color, and feel because the impregnating agent bonds with the fibers without forming a film on the surface. Eco-certified with OEKO-TEX Eco Passport and USDA Certified Biobased Product.

When to re-impregnate?
When water droplets no longer bead off the outside of your raincoat or other functional outdoor clothing, it means the original water repellency has been washed away. This is the time to re-proof the clothing to restore its original technical properties.

Why re-impregnate?
After about 5 to 10 washes, depending on the quality of the waterproofing and the detergent used, a garment's water-repellent (DWR) coating can wear off. This also reduces the garment's breathability, making it feel heavy and cold, even when using membranes like Gore-Tex®. Regular washing and waterproofing improves the performance and extends the life of your clothing.

Applications:
Suitable for use on sports and outdoor clothing made of polyester, polyamide, wool, down, or blends, such as waterproof rainwear, skiwear, sportswear, softshells, hardshells, parka jackets, anoraks, and hiking pants. Also suitable for sleeping bags, horse blankets, and other outdoor textiles.

Sustainability:
This product is based on natural chemistry, without fluorinated compounds (PFC/PFAS), fossil-based polymers, or synthetic waxes. Biobased and biodegradable according to OECD 301F.

Contents:
Water, natural fatty acids and surfactants.

How to use:

1. Wash the garment without fabric softener. Leave the garment in the washing machine.
2. Dose into the detergent compartment:
   • 1 item: 100 ml
   • 2 items: 150 ml
   • 3 items (max): 200 ml
3. Use a short wash and rinse cycle (follow the care instructions). Tumble dry on a low heat for best results, or let it air dry.

Manual impregnation without a washing machine:

1. Dose 200 ml in 5 L water.
2. Make sure the garment is completely submerged and let it soak for 2 hours.
3. Rinse several times with cold water.
4. Tumble dry on low heat or air dry.

Other information:
Sufficient for 5–7 items. Shelf life: 12 months after opening. Storage: Keep frost-free and out of reach of children. Recycling: Sort as plastic (rPET bottle).
