Description

Gives plenty of room in the forefoot right away. Especially on longer runs you notice your toes can move more naturally, without the shoe feeling sloppy or unstable on rougher terrain.

Feels reliable on varied surfaces. The mix of grip, protection and medium cushioning works well on forest paths, rocky trails and longer descents where your feet take more of a beating.

Comes into its own on ultras and long hikes. When fatigue sets in or your feet start to swell, the wide fit stays more comfortable than many traditionally shaped trail shoes.

Looking for a fast race shoe with a tight race feel? Then this isn't the best choice. For comfort, room and long days outdoors it is.

True to size in length and roomy in width. Take your usual running shoe size.

How much drop and cushioning does the shoe have?

0 mm drop and 25 mm stack. The cushioning is medium.

Does the shoe protect against rocks?

Yes, the StoneGuard in the midsole works as a thin rock plate.

Geweldig als je van barefoot komt.

Na 15 jaar barefoot met en zonder schoenen toch wat demping op trails gewenst. En dat doen deze schoenen perfect. Natuurlijk voelt het wat onwennig als je 5mm zonder demping gewend bent, maar met 0 drop went dat snel. Schoen zit lekker stevig omhullend en super grip met deze vibram zool. Aanrader. Ander pluspunt is zeer breed aan de voorkant (wide model) waardoor je ook met brede voorvoet goed kan rennen.

Fijne schoen voor thru-hiker

Heerlijke schoenen voor lange afstandswandelingen. Lekker licht en heel veel grip. Veel ruimte voor je tenen en ideaal voor het gebruik van gaiters.

Ik heb daarvoor model 4 en model 5 gehad.. deze 8+ is een vooruitgang - betere zool en beter boven materiaal!

i have tried all versions starting from 3,5. this is one of the best IMO, maybe together with ver4, in terms of width of the toe box area (main purpose we are bying Altra :-) Also Length is true to size
