On September 8 the time has come! A new Sint Pietersbear Trail through the beautiful ENCI quarry in Maastricht.
The previous editions of the Sint Pietersbear Trail always attracted around 1200 runners to the ENCI quarry. So if you want to be there, don't wait too long to register.
Registrations start on 25 February and unlike last year, there are not 1200 starting tickets available, but only 750! We are of course very happy that the event can/may still take place at all.

About the Sint Pietersberg
The surroundings of the ENCI quarry and the Sint-Pietersberg in Maastricht form a breathtaking backdrop for a trail run. This unique nature reserve, where nature and industrial history go hand in hand, offers a challenging course for runners. The steep limestone cliffs, extensive underground passages and crystal clear waters of the quarry, combined with the natural beauty and historical importance of the Sint-Pietersberg, make every kilometer of the trail a discovery.
The trail offers a variety of landscapes, from the rugged terrain of the quarry to the green, wooded trails on the mountain. Runners are challenged by the steep climbs and technical descents, while they are rewarded with spectacular views of the Limburg landscape and the city of Maastricht. The path also leads past historic fortifications and offers a unique opportunity to spot rare flora and fauna.
This trail run in the area of the ENCI quarry and the Sint-Pietersberg is not only a physical challenge, but also a historical and natural exploration, which takes participants on a journey through one of the most characteristic landscapes of the Netherlands.
