The Heuvelland Marathon is unlike any other marathon. In 2024, the Heuvelland Marathon will run from the Drielandenpunt in Vaals to Maastricht. It's not a regular marathon, but a nature marathon. The course runs primarily on unpaved paths, but it's not a trail run. It includes several climbs with a total elevation gain of 595 meters. The start is at 326m above sea level and the finish at 42m above sea level.
