But just when you think you've settled into a good rhythm, the first hills and sand drifts break that feeling. The trail run follows regular forest paths, but we can't guarantee you won't get wet feet.

All proceeds from this trail run will be transferred to the Roparun on behalf of Roparun team 't Halve ZolenlijntjeThis team of approximately 25 people consists of residents of Raamsdonkveer, Drunen, Raamsdonk, and Dongen, all of which are located along the Halvezolenlijntje.

About the forests of Dorst

The Dorst forests, located in the province of North Brabant in the Netherlands, are a beautiful and diverse nature reserve that offers both tranquility and adventure. This expansive woodland is known for its diverse flora and fauna and forms a green oasis in the surrounding area. With a network of well-maintained hiking and cycling trails, it is a popular destination for nature lovers and recreationists.

The diversity of the landscape in the Dorst forests is remarkable. You'll find dense coniferous forests, mixed deciduous forests, and open heathlands, which together provide a home to numerous animal and plant species. Birdwatchers will delight in spotting various bird species, while the quiet paths are ideal for a relaxing walk or bike ride.

A special feature of the Dorst forests is the Surae, a nature reserve with sand dunes and fens, which creates a unique and diverse landscape. This area is not only important for biodiversity but also offers beautiful vistas and photogenic spots.

For active visitors, there are several mountain bike trails running through the forest, varying in difficulty. Whether it's a leisurely stroll, birdwatching, cycling, or mountain biking, the Dorst forests offer something for everyone, making them a valuable natural gem in North Brabant.
