The VJ MAXx2 is a versatile, well-cushioned and fast trail running shoe for varied terrain.

This shoe features our new SuperFOAMance midsole, a high-tech, ultralight nitrogen-infused material that provides extreme cushioning and energy return. This advanced, supercritical foam is lighter, more responsive, more comfortable, and more powerful than traditional EVA foam. Compared to other foams, SuperFOAMance is more durable and less likely to tear.

The midsole is finished with a full length rock plate that protects the runner's feet from sharp edges and protruding branches. The rock plate also makes the shoe torsionally stiff and increases energy efficiency.

The MAXx2 features VJ's renowned Superior Contact outsole, made from our proprietary butyl rubber compound, which provides the best grip on any terrain.

The upper is lightweight, breathable and durable, made from one piece. The last is shaped to the foot, which together with the upper ensures maximum comfort and performance.

VJ's innovative Fitlock system ensures an optimal fit by locking the foot from the arch. It also provides additional protection by cushioning the arch from impact while running.
