Tomir 2.0: Enhanced Trail Shoe for Unparalleled Comfort and Durability
Meet the Tomir 2.0, the improved version of our most versatile and comfortable trail shoe. Developed by listening to feedback from the NNormal community, this new shoe is designed to enhance all your trail running and outdoor experiences.
Built Stronger
After an extensive research process, we have developed a shoe that is even more durable, resistant and comfortable than its predecessor. The secret lies in the use of new materials in the upper and midsole: 360 Nylon thread stitching in the midsole and new anti-slip fabric laces.
Longer Running
Thanks to the improved rocker and geometry of the midsole, the Tomir 2.0 provides a smoother, less stressful walking experience. This allows for more comfortable running over longer distances.
More Damping
Tomir 2.0's new supercritical foam compound is lighter and provides more cushioning and energy savings while running. This allows you to walk with less effort and go further.
Specifications:
- Production location: Made in Vietnam by Fulgent Sun
- Sole: 100% rubber
- Upper: 50% TPE | 22% polyester | 28% nylon monofilament
Why are the laces of the Tomir slanted?
The laces of the NNormal Tomir are slanted for practical and functional reasons that contribute to comfort, fit and performance. Here are the main reasons:
1. Anatomic fit
The angled lacing follows the natural shape of the foot, placing more pressure on areas where support is needed and less on sensitive areas. This prevents bottlenecks and ensures even pressure distribution.
2. Better support
The asymmetrical lacing ensures that the shoe conforms better to the foot, especially in the middle of the arch. This improves stability and prevents the foot from sliding in the shoe while walking.
3. Comfort on long distances
On longer trails or hikes, straight laces can sometimes create pressure points on the top of the foot. The angled lacing reduces this by distributing the pressure more evenly across the top of the foot.
4. Optimized performance
Because the laces run more diagonally, the foot is secured more firmly in the heel and midfoot, which is crucial for technical trails and grip in challenging terrain.
5. More natural flex
The angled positioning works with the natural bend of the shoe, which helps with a smooth gait of the foot while walking or running.
This design is a thoughtful choice by NNormal to optimize both comfort and functionality, especially for long days on the trail.
