Versatility, performance and comfort

The VJ MAXx2 is a versatile, well-cushioned, and fast trail running shoe for varied terrain.

This shoe features our new SuperFOAMance midsole, made from high-tech and ultra-light nitrogen-infused material that provides extreme cushioning and energy return. This modern, supercritical foam is lighter, more responsive, more comfortable, and more powerful than traditional EVA foam. Compared to other foams, SuperFOAMance is more durable and less prone to tearing.

The midsole is finished with a full-length rockplate that protects the runner's feet from sharp edges and protruding branches. The rockplate also makes the shoe torsionally stiffer and increases energy efficiency.

The MAXx2 features VJ's famous Superior Contact outsole, made from our proprietary butyl rubber compound, which offers the best grip on any terrain.

The upper is lightweight, breathable, and durable, made from a single piece. The last is shaped to the foot, which, together with the upper, ensures maximum comfort and performance.

VJ's innovative Fitlock system ensures an optimal fit by securing the foot from the arch. It also offers extra protection by shielding the arch from impact during running.
