Expensive, lumpy rocket fuel pudding.

It's great that Naak now also has a line with a favorable glucose-fructose ratio. Rocket fuel for high carb fueling, in other words. I ordered the gel (and the drink) to test, because they sponsor the UTMB World Series and will be serving Naak Boost there from now on.

But... The price for 25 grams of carbohydrates is very, very high. Just try knocking off 90-100 grams of that per hour ;) Furthermore, I didn't like the consistency of the gel. It is very firm (compare Maurten) and has a bit of a texture to boot. It almost looks a bit like lumpy pudding. Maybe that's your thing; in that case: enjoy! I prefer my gels a bit more liquid and am not a fan of this one.

Hi Sander, thanks for your detailed feedback. We indeed recognize what you're saying regarding the texture. It sits exactly between the 'harder' hydrogel from Maurten and the 'super liquid' gels. And that indeed makes it just a little bit different.
