Why does the Kjerag have no insole?

The Normal Kjerag deliberately has no traditional insole for the following reasons:

1. Direct contact with the sole
   By omitting a separate insole, your foot is placed closer to the midsole. This ensures more direct contact with the shoe and better energy transfer while running, which is important for technical trails and performance.

2. Weight reduction
   Removing a separate insole helps reduce the overall weight of the shoe, contributing to the lightweight feel and efficiency needed during long trail runs.

3. Stability and precision
   A shoe without a removable insole often offers more stability and a more consistent fit, because there are fewer parts that can shift. This is especially important on technical trails, where precision with every step is essential.

4. Sustainability and sustainability
