Description
These gloves feel thin, light, and stretchy. They fit snugly around your hand, so you maintain good dexterity in your fingers. The grippy palm makes it easy to hold a flask, gel, or poles, and you operate your phone or watch with the fingertips.
They perform best in cool and dry weather. Think of a crisp morning run in the Amsterdam Forest, a dry autumn trail on the Veluwe, or the first cold kilometers of a long endurance run. Once you’ve warmed up after fifteen minutes, you’ll notice the difference: your hands stay warm but don’t get sweaty like they do in thick gloves. If it gets colder, simply pull a mitten or waterproof glove over them.
If in doubt, consider the weather in which you will be walking. These gloves are not waterproof and offer little insulation, so your hands will get cold quickly in rain or frost. If you often walk in cold and wet weather, choose the Contact Insulated Waterproof or the Paradox Waterproof. For cool, dry days and as a base under another glove, these are actually ideal.
In short: thin, lightweight gloves for cool days and as an inner layer.
