Training Days

Take 2 capsules after training with Recoverite® or Hammer PHOOD. After long training days, if desired, you can take an extra capsule with dinner.

INGREDIENTS EXPLAINED

• Enteric Coated Superoxide Dismutase (SOD) - This endogenous (naturally occurring in the body) enzyme has powerful antioxidant properties. The enteric coated form in Super Antioxidant ensures it passes the stomach for maximum absorption in the small intestine.
• Grape Seed Extract - A strong antioxidant that can neutralize numerous free radicals thanks to its high concentration of bioflavonoids. It also helps to strengthen connective tissue and has anti-inflammatory properties.
• L-Glutathione – Another endogenous antioxidant that helps combat excessive exposure to free radicals that arise during exertion or from environmental influences.
• Ginkgo Biloba – A powerful herb traditionally used to improve circulation and cognition. It also provides antioxidant support.
• Gotu Kola – This herb naturally supports healthy circulation and has antioxidant properties.
• Vinpocetine – An alkaloid found in the periwinkle plant. Vinpocetine is an excellent antioxidant that also supports optimal oxygen utilization and improves circulation.

HOW DO I STAY ALERT DURING NIGHTTIME ULTRA RACES?

During ultra-long races, especially those where you race through the night and into the next day, you might need something to stay alert. Here are four safe and effective suggestions that you can use in combination:

1. Take a serving of Fully Charged every 3-4 hours. Two amino acids in Fully Charged, taurine and tyrosine, enhance focus, alertness, and concentration without stimulating the nervous system. It also contains a small amount of caffeine (about 10-15 mg per serving) thanks to the green tea extract in the product.
2. Take 1-2 capsules of Endurance BCAA+ before the race and every hour during the race. The three branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs) in this product, l-leucine, l-isoleucine, and l-valine, help reduce the perception of fatigue, both mentally and physically.
3. Take a Super Antioxidant capsule every 1-2 hours during nighttime hours. The Ginkgo biloba and vinpocetine components in the product not only provide antioxidant support, but also improve blood circulation and cognitive alertness.
4. Occasionally use one of the versions of Hammer Gel with caffeine. Each serving of Espresso Hammer Gel contains 50 mg of caffeine and each serving of Tropical Hammer Gel contains 25 mg. These specific flavors of Hammer Gel provide your body with complex carbohydrates for sustained energy without the "flash and crash" and provide a sufficient but not too high dose of caffeine.
