The Veluwezoomtrail is the first organized (Ultra) trail run in the Netherlands. In one of the most beautiful areas of our country, the Veluwezoom. On June 20, 2010, Jan Strijker, founder of the event, organized the first edition with then, 81 participants on one distance, namely 53 kilometers Ultra Trail. Cairn Adventures took over the event in 2017 and continued with respect and according to Jan Strijker's values and let it grow into a real Festival spread over two days. (comparable to our Salomon Vuurtorentrail on Ameland)
