For trail runners who want reliable grip and dry feet in rain, cold and wet terrain.

Works best on muddy forest paths, winter trails and technical routes in bad weather.

The biggest advantage is the combination of waterproof protection and a lot of grip on slippery surfaces.

Do not choose if you mainly run in warm, dry conditions or are looking for maximum ventilation.

Description

Feels secure and stable on wet terrain. The grip remains reliable on mud, wet stones, and slippery roots, allowing you to keep riding technical sections with more confidence.

Remains comfortable during long runs in bad weather. The cushioning absorbs hard impacts well without becoming heavy, while the shoe remains sufficiently agile for fast turns and varying terrain.

Especially noticeable during cold, rainy days. If you normally get wet or cold feet quickly, the waterproof construction helps you stay comfortable for longer during hours outdoors.

If you are looking for a trail shoe for autumn, winter, and wet conditions, this one works very well. It is less suitable for dry summer runs or warm ultras.

Why Saucony?

Many trail runners started out on the road. And chances are they did so in a pair of Sauconys. That is why we consider Saucony such a strong brand for the transition to off-road running.

With models like the Ride TR and Guide TR, you have an ideal shoe for gravel, forest paths, and mixed routes. Do you want to tackle technical trail work afterwards? Then Saucony also has trail shoes like the Xodus and Peregrine, allowing you to confidently take on mud, hills, and singletracks.

Bee Trail.NL We therefore see Saucony as a brand that allows you to grow: from your first unpaved kilometers to serious trail adventures. That makes it a logical choice for runners who want to get off the asphalt more and more often.

Not entirely happy

Not entirely happy with this shoe. For me, they actually provide just a little too little cushioning. I often switch between asphalt and trail in one run, and I don't run mega long distances. I might keep these shoes as waterproof hiking boots, or if I'm only going to run a muddy trail. I haven't tested them for that yet. But if you also run on asphalt often, this is not a good option.

Hello Myrthe, thank you for your feedback.Het The Saucony Peregrine model is indeed a shoe for somewhat more technical terrain and not made for asphalt. As hiking shoes, they will perform very well, and they should also be able to handle mud well. If you are still looking for a shoe to conquer both asphalt and trails, we have a nice selection of road-to-trail shoes. Feel free to stop by to try some out or send us an email for advice!

Nice sneakers

Nice sneakers. The only downside is the laces that keep coming undone.
I received excellent help in the store!
