Description

Soft and smooth on mixed routes. The cushioning comfortably absorbs landings and provides a gradual roll-off during easy and longer runs.

More confident as soon as the asphalt ends. The outsole offers extra grip on gravel, dry forest paths, and park paths without feeling stiff on the road. You notice this especially in corners and on loose patches where a regular road shoe feels uncertain more quickly.

Choose it for road-to-gravel. The snug fit keeps your foot stable when the surface changes, but the shoe offers insufficient grip and protection for technical trails or deep mud.

For daily runs off solid ground.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between the Salomon Aero Glide 4 GRVL and Aero Blaze 4 GRVL?

Both shoes are designed for runners who alternate between asphalt, gravel and light dirt trails. The biggest difference is in the amount of cushioning and the running feeling.

  • Salomon Aero Glide 4 GRVL: Provides maximum cushioning and a soft, comfortable walking feeling. Ideal for long runs, marathons and runners who prioritize comfort.
  • Salomon Aero Blaze 4 GRVL: Is lighter and more direct. This shoe feels more agile and is better suited for daily training and shorter, slightly faster distances.

Both models have the same Gravel Contagrip® outsole, which gives them a lot of grip on asphalt, gravel and forest paths. They are less suitable for technical terrain or mud.
