The Agility Peak 6 combines robust protection with a surprisingly smooth roll-off. During long trails, the shoe feels comfortable and stable without the clunky feel that many maximally cushioned trail shoes can have.

You notice the improved control especially on technical terrain. On descents, winding singletracks, and rocky sections, the shoe responds more precisely and less sluggishly than previous versions. The grip remains reliable on wet stones, loose surfaces, and muddy sections.

Despite the thick cushioning, the shoe remains reasonably energetic during prolonged exertion. You notice this especially when fatigue starts to set in and you still want to keep walking smoothly on rough trails. The fit is more stable around the midfoot and heel, limiting sliding on technical sections.

If you are looking for a playful racing shoe or a lot of direct ground feel, this shoe will probably feel too big and protective. The Agility Peak 6 clearly prioritizes comfort, grip, and long-lasting control.
