The length of the pole is a key factor in its ability to be used in the given discipline, whether it's alpine skiing, cross-country skiing (classic or skating technique), cross-country skiing, trail running, hiking, trekking, or Nordic walking. The right pole length allows you to get the most out of your pole. The pole should support the user's technique, protect against incorrect movements, cushion potential falls, and optimally transfer power. This is only possible with the right length, which can vary considerably depending on the sport. Therefore, LEKI offers the option to calculate the optimal pole length. This handy tool determines the optimal length for the sport in question, in combination with the user's height.
Description
Description
Developed for efficient climbing and stable descending. The Ultratrail FX.One It feels direct and controlled when you lean firmly on the pole during steep sections. Especially on technical trails, the stiffer construction provides extra confidence during quick changes of direction and on uneven terrain.
More support without a clunky feel. The carbon tube keeps the pole stable under load, while the total weight remains low enough for long races. You notice this especially when fatigue sets in and your rhythm depends on consistent support during climbing.
Practical on varying terrain. The folding system makes the pole easy to carry on flat sections or descents where you want to walk without it temporarily. Additionally, the grip extension helps on short, steep sections where you want to quickly reach lower without adjusting the length.
Are you torn between maximum lightness or more stability? Choose this pole if you run long and technical trails where control remains important. If you are looking purely for a minimalist racing pole, lighter models make more sense.
