Light and direct feel on the go. This sock feels thin and precise in low to mid-height hiking boots, without being excessively tight. Especially during long days, you notice that the foot feels less clammy due to the extra ventilation on top of the foot.
More comfort without becoming bulky. The cushioning underfoot absorbs just enough hard sections of gravel path and long descents, while the sock remains compact. You particularly notice the extended protection around the Achilles tendon when shoes start chafing there more quickly.
Stays in place well during prolonged movement. The ribbed structure around the shaft prevents slipping and is comfortable when walking on varied terrain. On warm climbs or tempo hikes, this sock feels more comfortable than thicker hiking socks.
Choose this sock if you primarily want to walk lightly, breathable, and precisely. Not if warmth or high cushioning is more important to you.
