Does a full soft flask fit in here?

Yes, we use that a lot ourselves. The 500 ones fit fine. Bigger is also possible. The best one is a flat one like the Compressport Ergoflask.

Super handy way to carry things along during a run

A super handy way to carry things during a run. Plenty of room all around to carry a flask, gels and bars, and a phone. You can also easily store a jacket in this belt. Rubber has been applied to the inside of the loops (for poles) so you don't lose them. On the front, there are two small loops, which I mainly use to attach my keys so I don't lose them. If you only want to take a phone with you, choose a narrower model, as the phone can move or bounce around a bit inside this belt.
